Caracal unveils CC10 9x19mm Carbine

Leading small arms manufacturer, Caracal, has introduced its first 9mm carbine at ISNR 2012.
The Caracal CC 10, adding another level of performance and modularity to Caracal's weapon family, will be available to customers in 2 variants: The CC10 SB (short barrel version) and the CC10 LB (long barrel version).
Where the SB version is aiming for the professional law enforcement market, the LB version is aiming to the civil consumer market as it is ideal for sports target shooting.
The CC10 includes most modern technologies to provide highest reliability, precision and safety. Some of the CC10 features are a short travel trigger, magazines with 15, 18 or 30 round capacity (magazines are interchangeable with the Caracal pistol family), ambidextrous magazine release and full tactical rails.

Shot Show 2012, Media Day at the Range

Caracal USA has demonstrated its products at the Media Day at the Range.
Products were tried out by many attendees from all kind of media with different sight systems and accessories.
The debut of Caracal, participating first time in this event, as well as the media campaign launched in November, attracted approx 500-600 visitors to our stand. Around 5000 rounds were shots in total by our visitors. Some of the statements we received about the CARACAL pistols: were superior trigger system, low felt recoil, easy and smooth handling and distinctive grip design.
The Quick Acquisition Sight System got the most positive comments for its unique target acquisition and generated a huge interest.
The Media day at the range was a very successful day for Caracal. As per the morning of 17th, videos and reports were already posted on the Internet by some of the visitors.

South African Demo
The Caracal 9mm visited its wild relation in South Africa. When the pistol was
demonstrated to key shooters in the bush. In hot then cold, dusty and humid conditions
the pistol performed to a very high standard and will very soon be introduced to the South
African market. Several dealers in Johannesburg and Pretoria have already agreed to stock
the UAE made pistol.
IPSC Competition Team
UAE in partnership with Caracal has proudly trained its first International Practical Shooting
Competition (ISPC) team. Comprised of UAE nationals the team travelled to Paris to participate in
the 2011 competition using standard factory Caracal F pistols. The team shot in the Production
Division (i.e. standard non-customized weapons) in the Level III competition. Both the team and
the pistol performed admirably and it was noted how Caracal's short reset trigger was a major aid
to the fast firing shooters.
